ICHPA Subscription Structure

Sponsoring Members will be those organisations (public and private sector) who already are significant stakeholders in CHP and who possibly stand to benefit most from enhanced market development. The sponsorship subscription will reflect Class A membership combined with an altruistic once-off payment to help get the Association off the ground. The precise fee for each sponsoring member will be agreed separately but it is to some extent a function of how much extra they wish to contribute to get the Association up-and-running. Sponsoring Members (exclusively) will be asked for an input into the actual name for the Association. The Irish CHP Association is only a working title for now, although it may be adopted. There may however be a preference for something like COGEN Ireland etc.

Other Membership Classifications Proposed Annual Subscription

• Class A and B membership allows organisations to nominate 3 individual representatives as members of the Association.
  
• Classes C and D allow two nominated persons.
  
• Classes E and F allow only one nominee – which is transferable during the year.
  
• Class G allows one non-transferable individual member. Organisations are free to take out additional individual (Class G) memberships as appropriate.
