In other words, BG CoGen's clients do not invest any of their own capital in the project; the CHP plant is fully financed by CoGen. CoGen's customers simply commit to purchasing heat and power from the CHP over a period of, typically, 10 years.

With offices in Cork and Dublin, BG CoGen is one of the leading developers of CHP in Ireland. Currently it's portfolio of plants represents approximately 25% of the total installed CHP capacity in the country.

In addition to providing CHP on a BOO basis, BG CoGen can offer it's range of core expertise in the form of consultancy services to industrial clients. These services include energy audits, CHP feasibility studies, tender management and appraisal and fuel contract negotiation.
